| What does the flag thingy mean? | | |
| The preceding was in no way poetic. I only typed "cryptic" in once and my computer decided it would own hard to copy the word a bunch of times.
Upon closer inspection it became clear to me that, indeed, copying the word a bunch of times did own hard. | | |
| It can only get to me when I'm alone. After everyone else falls asleep I become a prisoner in my own head. The Chronicles of Narnia, a new idea called Mr. Rinaldo and good company can last for hours -- but as a sun sets people leave and pass out. And I have me. I'm exhausted, but I can't sleep. The one person who can free me is gone. I long only to pick up a phone and fix everything, but unlike bad dreams this won't go away.
I have one of the biggest days of my life tomorrow (today now) and I can only think of one violin shape, and it isn't my Zeta.
Posting this shit on the internet is probably the single last thing I want to do, but at this point I have no other outlet. This is all crypticcrypticcrypticcrypticcrypticcrypticcrypticcrypticcrypticcryptic, I know, but don't ask.

| Everyone listen to Shuggie Otis.
Last weekend there was a legit two-day rehearsal when Tigran (armenian Chick Corea on keyboard) kidnapped us and made us learn a very complex tune he had written (pictures and a few live recordings to come soon). After night one we opted to get a mini-keg and listen to the recordings we'd made. After about 20 plays we got tired of it and put on Shuggie Otis -- BAYAM. Instant dance party.
1974 hidden gem of funk, psychedelic soul and some really good guitar playing.
Plus there's this:
